The 10^th Anniversary Gene Berg Memorial Cruise is complete. For this very special Cruise we traveled to the original 1996 destination, Ypsilanti Michigan where our hosts were the Michigan Vintage Volkswagen Club and MVVC President Ed Karmann. Along the way we were hosted by GBE in Orange, Kustom Coachwerks in Grand Junction,  Sewfine and Painters Grinding in Denver, the German Car Club of Kansas, Mid America Motorworks in Effingham Ill, the Harsh Winters Volkswagen Club and the Old Fort VW Club in Indiana.

For nine days, the car in the lead was the blue 1969 Bug of Steve Hollingsworth of V.W. Performance with Deena Reese handling the maps and the radio. The "Blue Leader" team kept the group together for 2500 miles.
