Here are some pictures from the Blitzkrieg cruise to Bug-o-Rama 44. We left San Jose Saturday morning and stayed at Weeble's grandparent's farm that night so we could get to Sacramento Raceway easily the next morning.
On the way, we stopped off to pick up Weeble's '56 Ghia which had been saved from the crusher.
Being the latest addition to the Blitzkrieg stable, the 56 was quickly decorated.
Weeble doesn't seem to like the rear window dressing and is about to rub it out.
Well, the camera is quicker that the rag!
Here's a shot out my front window at the 56 behind the Blitzkrieg support vehicle.
By the next morning, the 56 was sporting a number of new decorations. A sure sign of a bored Nelson!
Here's Bob installing the new top on his 'vert.
There were bugs and ghias all over the place!
Nelson's '67 with the kwell lights attached.
And here's Bob's unrestored (really!) 57 Oval. Wow!
